German tourists die in crashes in Iran, Spain

Minibus crash near Persepolis, plane crash near Granada
Two unrelated accidents in Iran and Spain have killed a number of German tourists, and in the case of the incident in Iran injured many more.
A minibus transporting tourists about 20 kilometres from the ancient ruins of Persepolis in southern Iran overturned in bad weather on Monday, leaving two dead and at least 17 injured, one of them critically.
Around 10 ambulances and a bus rushed the injured to hospital, while a helicopter flew the individual in a critical condition to a hospital in Shiraz.
According to witnesses, the bus driver lost control at high speed on a rainy road between Shiraz and Saadat Shahr. He and the tour guide were among the injured.
In southern Spain, three Germans died when their small plane crashed at the weekend. Flying from Muchamiel to Granada, the plane crashed in high winds in mountains 80 kilometres from their destination.
