Flybe Nordic to focus on expanding its route network

Despite its founder carriers’ continuing financial troubles, income at Flybe Nordic has tripled over the past year, according to Flybe Europe CEO Mike Rutter. The chief executive added Flybe Nordic will now focus on expanding its route network, especially to and from Denmark.
As reported, Flybe will take advantage of the joint venture’s lower cost base from the end of October and use Finnair’s 12 Embraer E-190 regional aircraft to fly many the Finnish flag carrier’s short-haul markets.
