Starting on 28 May, the world’s entertainment capital will be served with a daily flight by Airbus A380, making it, after New York and Washington, the 3rd U.S. destination to be served by the Company’s super jumbo.
Air France will serve Los Angeles from Paris-Charles de Gaulle with two daily flights : one operated by an Airbus A380 and the other by a Boeing 777. The arrival of the Airbus A380 wil generate a 4% growth (in seat offered) on the Paris-Charles de Gaulle-Los Angeles route (Summer 2012 vs 2011).
In the summer of 2012, Air France will operate eight Airbus A380 aircraft from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, serving Los Angeles, New York-JFK, Singapore, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Montreal and Washington.
The route is part of the transatlantic joint venture operated by Air France KLM, Alitalia and Delta.
