Part-time arrangements also option for staff
Finnair announces today that in continuing its savings program it is beginning employee consultations in its Customer Service Division. The consultations will concern Finnair’s Ground Customer Service personnel at Helsinki Airport. The talks follow business model and organisational changes made in spring 2012, and the negotiations will be part of the airline’s €140 million cost savings program.
The negotiations concern 250 employees and could result in part-time arrangements for an estimated 30 employees and job losses for around 25 employees. However, Finnair stresses that the negotiations aim at minimising redundancies and part-time arrangements.
