Explore new SAS cabin using Google Street View

First airline in Europe to offer virtual tour of long-haul aircraft
Earlier this month, SAS put its new long-haul cabin on Google Street View, saying it was the first airline in Europe to offer a virtual tour on board a long-haul aircraft. Now it’s possible to use Google Street View to “experience” the SAS lounge in Copenhagen.
Visitors can make a virtual tour through all areas of the lounge and take a closer look at the workspaces, kids’ corner, food and other details. The gimmick is proving to be good marketing, as one airline executive points out.
“Our lounges offer a relaxed environment that we know our most frequent customers appreciate,” says Stefan Hedelius, vice president for brand and marketing at SAS. “Thanks to Google Street View, we are enabling more people to find out about our products and services in line with our ambition to create innovative new digital solutions for our customers.”
