The European Convention Bureau held its tenth annual Euro-Congrès Summer Soirée on Thursday at the recently-opened Waldorf Astoria Hotel in London’s Syon Park, set in 200 acres by the River Thames.
The event was well attended by a host of meeting and event planners interested in learning what members of the European Convention Bureau could offer them.
The Waldorf Astoria put on a sumptious buffet supper accompanied by fine wines and jugs of Pims. The evening concluded with a prize draw for magnums of Harrods’ finest Champagne and travel prizes donated by members from around Europe.
The next show at which the European Convention Bureau exhibit will be is IMEX America.
The European Convention Bureau is a member of the International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP), a fast-growing grassroots travel and tourism coalition of global destinations committed to quality service and green growth.
