Liv Tyler’s Japanese love affair: the actress’s journey through the vibrant Ginza district
19th April 2017: Actress, fashion designer, style icon: Liv Tyler is known for being the ultimate dynamic woman. The talented actress has been going from strength to strength, welcoming a baby girl last July and starring in the third installment of HBO’s series The Leftovers, while also filming BBC’s upcoming show the Gunpowder with Kit Harington (Game of Thrones).
Always ready for a new journey between the takes, the actress ventured to the East to her longtime love, Tokyo. Liv, who has visited the Asian metropolis multiple times, disclosed her memories of the city in an exclusive exploration of the Ginza District. From traditional Japanese shrines to the renowned Tsutaya Bookstore, Liv lead on a discovery of Ginza’s hotspots before spending a glamorous evening at the Ginza Six Mall for the new Belstaff Store launch event.
As Belstaff’s ambassador, Liv unveiled the luxury fashion brand’s latest store, which samples the premium offerings of the renowned Tokyo district. The actress has previously cooperated with Belstaff, designing two capsule collections which mixed her classic-with-a-rock-star-edge style and the brand’s signature style. Drawing inspiration from her  real-life experience, Liv created exclusive pieces for dynamic women aiming to be stylish while on-the-go.
