AccessAllRooms.com thought up by Paralympics torch-bearer

A company claiming to be the world’s first hotel booking website to cater for disabled people has launched. AccessAllRooms.com is described as the brainchild of 2012 Paralympics torch-bearer James Price and supplies access to real time availability and bookings of hotel room types.

The company said its key function was to provide “clear, simple and accurate information” regarding hotels worldwide, such as minimum width of doorways and corridors.

It also hopes to encourage hotels worldwide to take a more vested interest in the convenience and comfort of their less mobile and physically impaired clientele.

AccessAllRooms.com wants hotels to target the growing Tourism Industry Makers in Equality (TIME) travel market – a term used for people who are disabled, less mobile or sensory impaired, including their carers and family or friends.
