Cruise and Rail Travel Int’l Ltd. (“Cruise and Rail”), a travel services company offering customised cruise and rail vacations around the world, is becoming more popular on Facebook.

With over 4000 likes on Face Book, Cruise and Rail Travel is making good on its goal of educating Caricom Nationals on the value of cruising, with its No USA VISA Cruises™ program. 

With the increase in fans on its Facebook page, the cruise-oriented travel agency is preparing to launch its first participatory promotional campaign for its No USA VISA Cruises™ with ports of call in Aruba, Curacao, and Colon, Cartagena de Indias.

Theo Alleyne, Director and Business Development Manager for Cruise and Rail, said “We believe that our daily interaction with our fans and transparency in answering their questions and provide them with information, on and offline, including articles and pictures on the social networking site has helped to improve their understanding of new vacations options and the value of cruising. Our upcoming promotional campaign on Facebook, will combine the talents of our marketing, sales and web teams for our customers’ benefit.”

“We know the type of audience we’re reaching on Facebook, and we are working hard to stay in contact with our older customer base who typically do not use social networking sites, like Facebook. So we have made the sign-up link for our mailing list more visible on our website. Additionally, we give our older customers a three day advantage on deals, by emailing deals a few days before positing on Facebook and our website” Alleyne added.
