Air France will serve Los Angeles from Paris-Charles de Gaulle with two daily flights : one operated by an Airbus A380 and the other by a Boeing 777. The arrival of the Airbus A380 wil generate a 4% growth (in seat offered) on the Paris-Charles de Gaulle-Los Angeles route (Summer 2012 vs 2011).
In the summer of 2012, Air France will operate eight Airbus A380 aircraft from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, serving Los Angeles, New York-JFK, Singapore, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Montreal and Washington.
The route is part of the transatlantic joint venture operated by Air France KLM, Alitalia and Delta.
