Move is part of China Southern continuing to “internationalize its growth”
China Southern Airlines, a member of SkyTeam and by many accounts the biggest airline in China and Asia, has celebrated the joining of its first Dutch Cabin Crew. The move is part of China Southern Airlines continuing to “internationalize its growth”, it says. It currently has over 1930 flights a day to 191 destinations in 33 countries and regions. Expansion is also clearly visible in the Netherlands, where China Southern has grown substantially since the start of its first Amsterdam-China flight in November 1996, now offering daily Amsterdam-Beijing-Guangzhou flights as well as a three times weekly direct service to Guangzhou. Starting April the latter route will be increased to five times a week, increasing to daily in June. China Southern will also launch a direct London-Guangzhou route in June.
Although China Southern currently employs almost 7000 flight attendants, all these extra flights and further growth creates the need for more international colleagues.
