Centara Hotels&Resorts has launched a loyalty card, Centara The 1 Card, with members able to accrue points that can be redeemed for free hotel rooms at any of the company’s properties anywhere in the world, with no blackout dates.
The card was launched February 14, St. Valentine’s Day, under the campaign theme, “Loyalty from the Heart.”
Points are earned when the member stays in a Centara hotel or resort anywhere in the world, eats at a Centara restaurant, or uses a Centara spa, and also when shopping at a Central Retail Corporation outlet anywhere in Thailand.
Members collect their points when booking direct through the Centara website, and also when tour operators and wholesalers book rooms for them.
There are four tiers to membership, namely Classic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Elite.
Members progress upwards through the tiers simply by earning more points, and at each level the rewards increase, with free room upgrades, early check-in and late checkout, pre-registration, and guaranteed room availability when staying on a paid-for basis.
Membership of Centara The 1 Card is free.
Centara The 1 Card will be promoted in a variety of ways, via advertising campaigns, online and social media marketing, database marketing, and point-of-sale.
Memberships will also be marketed through Central Retail’s The 1 Card, which currently has in excess of 4 million members.
Centara – The 1 Card can be used at Centara hotels and outlets throughout Thailand and overseas, and points can be redeemed for free rooms in Thailand and the overseas hotels and resorts.
