Survey: business travel is easier and more productive than it was 10 years ago

Business travel is easier and more productive than it was 10 years ago, according to the results of a new survey released by Hyatt Place. Constantly evolving technology and hotels that keep pace with technological innovations are behind these positive feelings. Things have changed so fast that today 64% of business travellers would rather leave their underwear at home than their smart phone, according to the survey.
Almost 70% say they travel the same amount or more. Their travel time has not reduced, but exactly 50% respondents say that business travel is easier than ever, due to new technology.
The top perk for business travellers is exploring new places. But 70%of them say they stay in touch with friends and family more often – an average of 33 minutes a day as opposed to 19 minutes 10 years ago.
