Blue Air – the biggest Romanian airline that has been operating for 11 years – has chosen TAL Aviation Nordic as its new General Sales Agent (GSA) for the Swedish country market. The appointment sees TAL Aviation Nordic handle the airline’s marketing activities, sales development, bookings and ticketing services within Sweden as well as conduct direct support services to the Swedish travel trade.
Blue Air, which is already present in GDS and BSP with the code 0B-475, operates twice-weekly flights (Tuesdays and Saturdays) from Bucharest to Stockholm Arlanda as of 4 June 2016. TAL Aviation Nordic, having its main office in Upplands Vasby – just north of Stockholm, is headed by Zygmunt Rozpedek, Country Manager, who has more than 25 years of experience in the travel business, with the last 18 of them in the airline industry.
Tudor Constantinescu, Chief Commercial Officer, Blue Air: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of TAL Aviation Nordic to represent Blue Air in Sweden. With their support, we will further develop our presence in Sweden and aim to expand our sales in this country market. We consider the Nordics an extremely significant market that will contribute to our growth in the following years. Thus, we look forward to welcoming more passengers from Sweden as TAL Aviation Nordic spreads the word about our high standard product.”
Zygmunt Rozpedek, Country Manager, TAL Aviation Nordic: “I am happy to welcome Blue Air to Sweden and we look forward to working with Blue Air. Our aim is to increase the knowledge of Blue Air flights and services to Swedish Travel Agents and to the travelling public. With services on Tuesdays and Saturdays, we are welcoming guests for weekend travel and city-breaks to Bucharest. Together we are able to develop Blue Air´s presence in Sweden as well as in other cities in the Nordics.”
Bucharest is known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards, glorious Belle Époque buildings and a reputation for the high life (which in the 1900s earned its nickname of “Little Paris”). Bucharest, Romania’s largest city and capital, is today a bustling metropolis.
A city of parks (Cismigiu Garden, Tineretului Park), museums (Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Grigore Antipa Natural History Museum) or trendy cafes and restaurants, all will delight your visual senses and enrich your culinary experience.
Bucharest’s nightlife scene has already earned worldwide prestige and attention. It’s considered one of the best in Europe and it’s certainly one of the cheapest. Bucharest’s nightlife can really cause addiction!
