Big names to gather for major cruise event

CEOs converge for Cruise Shipping Miami 2015
Chief executives of the world’s biggest cruise companies will take part in a wide-ranging discussion of the health and future of the global cruise business in Miami next month.
Cruise Shipping Miami 2015 set for March 16-19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Its State of the Industry session sets the course of the cruise industry, and this year’s opening plenary session will feature CNN’s Richard Quest as panel moderator.
The panel includes Arnold Donald, president and CEO of Carnival Corporation; Richard Fain, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Frank J Del Rio, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, and Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman of MSC Cruises.
“Recently we have seen significant changes in the cruise industry, with brand consolidations and new faces at the C-suite level,” said Christopher Dauer, director of UBM Connect’s Cruise Events Portfolio. “These four executives will provide a top-level overview of where the global cruise industry is today and what they foresee going forward.”
Randall Soy, EVP sales and marketing at Regent Seven Seas Cruises commented on Cruise Shipping Miami: “Every time I come, there is a new opportunity to meet with a new partner and a new destination”, while Delphine Beudin, cruise business development manager at the Port of Toulon, France, said: “Cruise Shipping Miami allows us to strengthen our knowledge about the market and our links with the cruise lines, operators and press.”
