Berlin airport strikes continue

More than 650 flights grounded on Monday
Further misery awaits passengers flying to and from Berlin, as ground staff at the city’s two main airports start a 25-hour strike expected to force the cancellation of more than 650 flights.
The walkout at Tegel and Schoenefeld airports began at 04:00 Monday morning, the latest in a series of hard-hitting strikes by ground crews over pay. The airports said that 448 flights would be axed at Tegel and 194 at Schoenefeld.
Lufthansa has cancelled all of its Monday flights to Berlin from Frankfurt and Munich and their return flights.
A similar strike on Friday resulted in the cancellations of around 700 flights, with disruption continuing into the weekend.
