Austrian Airlines looks for 280 flight crew

Positions related to an additional long-haul aircraft

The Austrian Airlines Group is hiring a total of 280 new flight attendants this year, of which 100 jobs have not yet been filled, including at fully-owned subsidiary Tyrolean Airways.

These new positions are related to an additional Boeing 777 long-haul aircraft, which will expand the Austrian Airlines fleet from this coming summer.

“We look forward to receiving many applicants who are just as concerned with the enthusiasm of our customers as we are,” Vera Renner, the group’s head of cabin operations, said.

The demands made on applicants include a high personal customer and service orientation, a good working knowledge of German and English and a minimum age of 18 years. New dates for selection at Vienna Airport are set for March 2014.
