Austrian Airlines will once again add a new tourist destination to its flight schedule in the winter of 2015.
Starting on November 14, 2015, Austria’s national carrier will fly once per week to Marrakech in Morocco. “In addition to Miami, Mauritius and Colombo as new long-haul tourist destinations, we are now expanding our flight offering to medium-haul holiday destinations. In this way we compensate for the strong seasonality of our business, and offer passengers an interesting selection of sunny destinations both in the summer and winter months”, explains Andreas Otto, Chief Commercial Officer of Austrian Airlines.
Austrian Airlines will deploy an Airbus A319 on its flights to Marrakech, at a distance of around 3,200 km from Vienna. These flights operated on Saturdays will only be offered in the winter season from November 14, 2015 to April 2, 2016. Flight time from Vienna to Marrakech is about 4 hours 15 minutes.
Air fares start at EUR 198 for round trip flights including taxes and charges. The flights can be booked as of today, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 online at http://myholiday.austrian.com/, by calling +43 5 1766 76700 or in travel agencies.
