Arctic Airlink launches new route

Nordic joint venture reaches further south
Besides Arctic Airlink’s existing flights linking Oulu in northern Finland and Tromsø in northern Norway and Luleå in northern Sweden, a new route is being launched further south, to the Swedish cities of Sundsvall and Gothenburg.
As part of minor changes in the route by the Scandinavian joint venture operated by NextJet, a new 50-seat CRJ200 promises to make the route faster and double the number of passengers. Previously, Arctic Airlink’s plane allowed for only 19 passengers.
Flight times to Tromsø are accelerated to an hour and ten minutes, and 25 minutes to Luleå. However, Oulu-Luleå-Tromsø will no longer be operated five times a week but three times, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
At the same time a new route from Luleå to Gothenburg via Sundsvall will start on March 13 using the same aircraft.
