TAL Aviation will work to expand airBaltic’s presence
Latvian national airline airBaltic has appointed TAL Aviation as its general sales agent for the Nordic countries. TAL will be providing comprehensive GSA services to airBaltic passengers including sales, marketing, reservations and ticketing services.
It will also work with airBaltic’s partners to expand the airline’s presence in the region, and to enable more Nordic travellers to take advantage of the carrier’s routes to the Baltic region, northern Europe and eastern destinations.
In all, airBaltic has appointed TAL Aviation as its general sales agent for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Romania and Spain. TAL Aviation is already airBaltic’s GSA in Greece and Italy.
TAL Aviation is an airline representation group that works with more than 35 airlines around the world. airBaltic flies to 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, with connections via its hub to a network in Europe, Russia, the CIS and the Middle East.
In related news, airBaltic has just announced that it will launch two new direct routes linking Frankfurt and Dortmund with the German Island of Usedom in the Baltic Sea for the summer season. It marks the first time the airline is offering direct flights between two places outside the Baltic states.
