The Latvian airline airBaltic has launched a route between Riga and Gothenburg. The airline says that the new route, which began yesterday, offers “convenient connections between the two cities and beyond to destinations in the Baltic region, Scandinavia, Russia and the CIS countries”.
The service operates four days a week, from Riga to Gothenburg on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but from Gothenburg on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A Bombardier Q400Next Gen aircraft is flying the one-hour-40-minute flight.
