Air Mauritius to improve operations to Europe

Big increase in capacity to Germany and Switzerland scheduled from October

Air Mauritius has announced a major improvement to its Germany and Switzerland operations with a delinking of the Frankfurt/Geneva service into dedicated Frankfurt and Geneva non-stop services from October 2011 until March 2012. The delinking of the services will provide non-stop flights to both of these airports during the peak season. Air Mauritius has recovered strongly over the last two quarters following a difficult period during the global economic crisis.
The annual capacity on Frankfurt now increases by 19% to 23,840 seats. For Geneva, capacity increases by 10% to 23,840 seats. The capacity growth is more pronounced during the peak winter months where capacity to Frankfurt increases by 28% and to Geneva by 24% compared to the previous winter season.
