Customers offered more destinations with mutual code-shares

The Air France-KLM Group, Etihad Airways and airberlin have announced plans to implement a commercial partnership. From October 28, they will offer their customers more destinations thanks to mutual code-share agreements. For example, Air France passengers will be able to travel on any day between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Abu Dhabi on Etihad Airways operated flights.
Beyond their gateways, the code-share agreement offers five destinations each to Air France and KLM passengers on the Asian and Australian market and ten European destinations to Etihad passengers on Air France and KLM. Air France passengers will be able to connect through Abu Dhabi for flights to places such as Colombo, Dhaka, the Seychelles and the Maldives. KLM passengers will be able to connect through Abu Dhabi for flights to cities like Colombo, Islamabad, Lahore, Melbourne and Sydney. And Etihad passengers will be able to connect through Paris-CDG for flights to Copenhagen, Bordeaux, Madrid, Nice and Toulouse under an Air France operated flight, and via Amsterdam-Schiphol to Billund, Oslo, Stavanger, Cardiff and Newcastle under a KLM-operated flight.
