The fifth edition of the Best of M.I.C.E Networking Forum will be held in Athens from 3rd to 5th May with an estimated attendance of 120 European decision makers.
For Laurent Fuchs, Director of ABC Solutions, “This edition is very special to us for many reasons. Firstly, it coincides with Best of M.I.C.E Forums second anniversary, two years that have been filled with many challenges but also with successes. Moreover, the difficult situation Greece is experiencing makes us feel very involved in the country. We wish to do our bit and somehow contribute to the country’s economic recovery by bringing in quality M.I.C.E buyers with substantial budgets. As an example, 80% of the buyers are senior decision makers for M.I.C.E business working for European blue-chip companies such as IBM, Lactalis or Saint Gobain. Lastly, we have the chance to call on great global partners such as IMEX or EIBTM plus several local ones such as the Hotel Grande Bretagne or Conceptours, a Euromic member who has been a loyal exhibitor since the very beginning. The presence of quality buyers and suppliers, and solid partners leads us to believe this edition will top the previous one.”
Tim Ananiadis, General Manager of the Hotel Grande Bretagne and area director for Starwood hotels says, “For our hotel, the Best of M.I.CE is an extremely important event which is even more important for Athens and the area. Some of the most influential M.I.C.E. decision makers will be experiencing what Athens has to offer. Given the unfair publicity Athens has received lately, this type of event allowing decision makers to personally evaluate the destination provides an unrivalled advantage for the city and the rest of Greek destinations. We are happy to have persuaded the organizers to choose our city. Although several other European suppliers will also be attending, we trust that we will be able to persuade hosted buyers to select Greece for some of their forthcoming events.
The long term experience and the meticulous planning of ABC Solutions is impressive and this along with the number of loyal return suppliers and buyers will definitely make this Forum a success.”
