Abba restaurant to open in Stockholm in January

Mamma Mia! The Party to be located in waterfront amusement park
A Mamma Mia style dining and entertainment venue is being planned for Stockholm, backed by Abba legend Björn Ulvaeus. It is inspired by the Greek taverna in the hit movie and musical – and the guests will be the stars.
Mamma Mia! The Party, as the project is called, is due to open on January 20, 2016, at the city’s waterfront Gröna Lund amusement park. The cuisine will be Greek and the lyrics will mostly be in English, but the atmosphere will be international, and guests – if they want to – will take part in the show.
“My vision is that this Greek taverna will be like a Mamma Mia bubble where people can just have a bloody good time. I can see the audience in front of me, how they’re laughing and singing along and having loads of fun. I want to create the same party spirit that’s the musical is so known for,” Ulvaeus told The Local.
“If, for example, I was to sit in the audience, the actors would see that ‘this one, he doesn’t want to participate, but that other guy, he wants to get up and dance’. People should feel safe.”
Ulvaeus evidently has big plans for the project. He added: “If it works in Sweden, there is no reason why it wouldn’t work anywhere else.”
Once again, though, he ruled out a reunion for the legendary pop group.
