German General Aviation operator and air ambulance specialist FAI rent-a-jet AG (dba Flight Ambulance International) is marking another successful year as it closes its books on 2015. The Nuremberg-headquartered company has recorded an operational income of approximately €80m, up on the 2014 figure of €73.5m.
The growth has been predominantly driven by a 37% increase in activity from the air ambulance division which generated revenue of €41.7m, compared with 2014’s €30.4m. In 2015 FAI`s dedicated fleet of air ambulances performed 747 missions to 400 destinations in 125 countries.
