Hotel Asia Exhibition & Culinary Challenge is one of the most important culinary events in the Maldives.
Many resort chefs are taking part at this highly recognized culinary challenge. This year, Mr. Alan Palmer, world-renowned chef & member of the World Association of chef Societies was the Chief judge of this three-day exhibition.
Led by our Executive Chef, Cedric D’Ambrosio our chefs won 8 medals and a trophy.
Chef Mustapha won a trophy and a gold medal for the best Lamb dish and a bronze medal for the Pasta dish. Chef Suresh won a silver medal for the Poultry dish, Chef Sasantha a bronze medal for the Beef dish, and Chef Rangalla bronze medal for the Hot appetizer dish.
Chef Danushka won 3 bronze medals in the following categories: Bread and Pastry display, Novelty Cake and Dress the Cake. Chef Krishanta received the Merit for the Team challenge and the creative salad.
