€100 million deal covers 4000 flights from 16 Scandinavian cities
The Swedish travel operator Apollo has signed what it calls a record-sized deal with SAS worth 920 million kronor (just over €100 million). The agreement includes 4000 flights from 16 Scandinavian cities to more than 20 destinations in Europe and Northern Africa. The partnership between the two companies has been extended as Apollo will contract Scandinavian Airlines for the flights this summer beyond its own airline Novair.
“For Apollo, the onboard experience is a vital part of our complete product […]. We have a long partnership with SAS and it was the combination of price, quality and timetable that SAS can offer that were the deciding factors,” Mats Dahlquist, COO of Kuoni Nordic, said.
